Gaza: Washington wants to hear nothing about a possible ceasefire!

United States Secretary of State Blinken, presented a sharp refusal to his interlocutor, Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, during an interview which united them this morning in Ramallah, in the West Bank.

Abbas confirmed to his guest that no one could remain silent in the face of the assassination of nearly ten thousand people, including four thousand children, not to cite the tens of thousands of wounded and exiled. Abbes voiced the readiness of the Palestinian Authority to play a major role in the management of the Gaza Strip after this war. He requested his guest to put pressure on to achieve an immediate ceasefire and the opening of channels for humanitarian aid to the population of Gaza.

Blinken, for his part, affirmed to his interlocutor Washington’s categorical refusal of any global ceasefire at this time.
