Global coronavirus cases exceed 3 million mark and 206,569 deaths worldwide

Coronavirus is continuing its spread across the world, with about 3 million confirmed cases in 185 countries as of Monday morning, according to  Johns Hopkins Universi

The university’s data showed that the number of deaths reached 206,569, while the number of people who recovered stands at 868,806.

The US is the hardest-hit with the highest number of infections and deaths more than 965,933 and approximately 54,877, respectively.

While Italy has the second-highest death toll with 26,644  Spain followed in third place with a death toll of 23,190.
