Global COVID-19 deaths hit daily record of 10,502

The second wave of coronavirus is striking powerfully as daily deaths recorded  10,502 new fatalities on November 17, data collected from health authorities worldwide registered. The figure indicates the largest daily rise in deaths since the pandemic started.

The total death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 1,343,379. The United States remains the most concerned country with over 250,000 fatalities, followed by Brazil with around 166,000 deaths from the virus.
