Italy’s Health Minister Roberto Speranza insisted on Sunday the country should tighten coronavirus-related restriction measures within the next two days to avoid a “structural collapse.”
“The epidemiological curve is still very high. What worries me the most is the absolute data, which shows a terrifying curve,” Speranza said according to the Corriere della Sera. Italy yesterday registered a new record-high number of COVID-19 cases, 31,758.
