Five people were wounded when a missile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia fell in the Jazan region of southwestern Saudi Arabia, state news agency SPA announced early on Tuesday.
The media spokesman for the Directorate of Civil Defense in Jazan, Col. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, declared the authority received a report concerning a missile launched from Yemen toward one of the border villages in Jazan.
Colonel Al-Ghamdi added that the projectile fell in a public street, and the injured were three Saudi citizens and two Yemenis who were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The flying shrapnel also damaged two houses, a grocery store, and three civilian vehicle,the same source added.
