Hungarian Defense Minister Krystof Szalay-Bobrovnicki met his Austrian counterpart Klaudia Tanner on Monday and said that his country, along with Austria, will not be sending weapons to Ukraine.
“Hungary’s position is clear, we do not send weapons to the conflict because we want to avoid its escalation, and in this respect, we stand on the same platform with Austria, neutral Austria also does not send weapons to war,” Szalay-Bobrovnicki stressed but added, “at the same time, both countries provide humanitarian aid to those fleeing the war.”
