Iranian television reported that at least 20 people were killed in a blast near the tomb of former Quds Force commander General Qassem Soleimani on Wednesday, January 3. This tragic event happened on the fourth anniversary of his assassination, in the province of Kerman.
According to information provided by the same source, the explosion was caused by gas canisters which burst near the road leading to the tomb of Qassem Soleimani.
For its part, the Emergency Organization of the Iranian city of Kerman announced that 50 people were wounded in this explosion.
