Ireland joins South Africa against Israel at ICJ

Ireland will intervene in an International Court of Justice case filed by South Africa against Israel’s genocide in Gaza, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence Micheál Martin said Wednesday.

Ireland will coordinate its efforts with other partner countries who have voiced their intention to join South Africa’s legal action against Israel.

This initiative underlines Ireland’s commitment to international law and its willingness to collaborate with like-minded countries on issues of global justice.
