Families of the child prisoners released in the recent exchange deal said that the schools’ administrations affiliated with the so-called Israeli Ministry of Education and the occupation municipality in Jerusalem refused the return of their children to school, Wafa news agency reported.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center-Jerusalem explained that several families in the neighbourhoods of Silwan, Al-Isawiya, and Sur Baher reported that the administrations of these schools refused the return of their children to schools, and asked them to wait for a definitive decision in their cases.
The center added that the names of about 50 children released in the recent exchange deal and other children who were detained for several hours or days, were circulated to the school administrations affiliated with the so-called Ministry of Education and the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, to ensure that they do not return to school until further notice, adds the same source .
