On the Attassia TV, the president of the FTF, Wadie Jary confirmed , that the national coach Jalel Kadri as well as his two assistants Ali Boumnijel and Slim Achour will continue their tasks at the head of the national team: “There is no reason for us to substitute Jalel Kadri (…) There is no reason to designate a new national coach (…) Boumnijel and Ben Achour has inked a contract of at least two years with the team and this agreement has been in place since the start”.
The Tunisian football boss disclosed that several teams have voiced their wish to confront Tunisia friendly, in preparation for the World Cup, like Mexico, Canada, Ecuador and El Salvador, specifying that to face nations European countries such as Portugal remains possible, pending the modification of the agenda of local championship matches on the “old continent”.
Finally, the head of the FTF emphasised that the President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed recommended finding solutions for the resumption of the television broadcast of the Ligue 1 Pro championship as soon as possible so that the public can follow the matches on the national channel. In this respect, he will offer new proposals to the federal office and to the clubs concerning this file.
