President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed, supreme head of the Armed Forces, chaired, Monday, June 24, 2024, at Carthage Palace, the ceremony commemorating the 68th anniversary of the creation of the National Army.
On this occasion, the Head of State saluted the flag to the sound of the national anthem and reviewed a detachment from the three branches of the armed forces.
He later presented their stripes to officers and non-commissioned officers promoted to higher ranks and decorated others with military insignia, in honour of their efforts.
