President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed this Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Carthage Palace, the Minister of National Defense, Imed Memiche. During this meeting, President Saïed emphasised that the military armed forces constitute a school of limitless dedication to the nation, going beyond the simple protection of the country.
He recollected the active participation of the army in many fields such as health, agriculture, securing national exams, and their collaboration with internal security forces whenever necessary.
President Saïed also insisted on the necessity to continue to develop the military capabilities of the national army while paying particular attention to the military, executives and civilian agents of the Ministry of National Defense.
This speech underscores the significance that the Head of State attaches to the multifunctional role of the Tunisian army and its commitment to strengthening its skills and well-being.
