Chairman of the GKSD Investment Holding group Kamel Ghribi held an Iftar dinner in Rome on Thursday, April 13th.
Kamel Ghribi told his guests: “Tunisia is not a problem but rather an extraordinary opportunity if Italy and the European Union develop a holistic cooperation with this great country.”
It is not just immigration. There is also culture, rural development, energy, infrastructure, agriculture in Tunisia. The Mediterranean which is a sea is meant to unite us rather than divides us. Just as there is an interreligious dialogue that ensures peace, security, stability and prosperity.
This is message I wanted to share with you in the Iftar dinner in the presence of the Imam of Palermo, the Imam of Rome and Italian Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia. We have to commit and believe. This is the secret of Italy’s and the European Union’s cooperation with Tunisia. I believe in it.”
