The official responsible for managing the regional office of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) Siwar Nsir announced to Tunisie Numérique correspondent that voting operations began in 169 centres and 233 polling stations at 8 a.m..
She revealed that 1,043 ISIE agents were mobilized to closely observe the smooth running of the second round of local elections.
54 electoral constituencies are impacted by this election, recalled Nsir.
