Libya: Storm Daniel kills more than 11,300 people in Derna

The Libyan Red Crescent revealed, in its latest report, that at least 11,300 deaths were registered in Libya due to Storm Daniel.

10,100 people are missing in Derna and 170 deaths have been recorded in other towns in eastern Libya, adds the same source.

“These numbers are predicted to increase as search and rescue teams work around the clock,” said the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
