Minister of Agriculture carried out field visits this Saturday, touching Bizerte, Béja and Manouba, to check the state of wadi courses and water evacuation channels in anticipation of the rainy season.
The minister was, downright, scandalized by the situation he discovered, wadis and canals plagued with rubbish and earth, and sometimes even plants, so that they form a source of danger which could be fatal, in the event of heavy rainfall, leading to floods which are likely to be serious.
He gave instructions so that those responsible in these regions fix this situation as quickly as possible before disasters occurred.
