An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit the Philippines on Sunday, according to the US scientific agency.
The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the quake was 18 kilometers (11 miles) east of Talagutong, the Mindanao island, and it occurred 120 kilometers (74 miles) beneath the ground.
No tsunami alert was issued following the earthquake, and authorities in the Philippines have yet to share information regarding the damage caused.
