Mercato: not summoned to AFCON, Hannibal Mejbri tracked by Lyon, Sevilla and Friborg (video)

This Thursday at a press conference, national coach Jalel Kadri revealed that Hannibal Mejbri requested his non-call to the AFCON to focus on his near future with Man United since the two parties are in advanced discussions to renew his contract with the Red Devils

In this same context, the Italian sports reporter Fabrizio Romano confirmed it while adding that the absence of Mejbri is due to the condition of the 3 European clubs who want to sign him in January/February, namely: Sevilla FC (Spain ), Olympique Lyonnais (France) and Friborg (Germany).

Little used by Ten Hag with only 327 minutes, the 20-year-old Tunisian international player situation could push him to look elsewhere to be loaned in January and not also compete in AFCON 2024 with the Eagles of Carthage.
