Mexico hit by 6.0-magnitude earthquake

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake was registered off the coast of Mexico on Sunday, according to data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The tremor struck the region at a depth of 18.8 kilometres, with its epicentre 3 kilometres west-northwest of El Ticui, a town with about 3,315 inhabitants.
