European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said Monday that the recently disclosed probe about corruption in the European Parliament is deeply concerning.
“Certainly, the news is very, very worrisome,” Borrell told reporters while assuring the investigation did not point to anyone in the EU diplomatic service. “There is nothing and no one being referred to neither from the External Action Service nor from the delegations,” he added.
