A fire outbreak at Kentainers Company Ltd. in Embakasi, Nairobi occurred after a gas explosion, injuring 298 people, according to a post by the Kenya Red Cross on X, formerly Twitter.
The Standard, a local Kenyan newspaper, reported that the fires that ensued caused two casualties, citing Wesley Kimeto, commander in charge of the police in Embakasi.
