Qatari Sprinter Abdalelah Haroun, 400m World Bronze Medalist, Dies in Car Crash

Qatari sprinter and world 400m bronze medalist Abdalelah Haroun passed away on June 26, 2021. Qatar Olympic Committee announced the news on their Twitter handle today.

 Agencies cited officials as saying the 24-year old died in a car crash.

Haroun won 2017 400m world bronze with a timing of 44.48 seconds.
