Russia–Africa Summit and Economic Forum to take place on 23–24 October at Sochi Olympic Park

The upcoming Russia-Africa summit is slated to take place on 23–24 October at Sochi Olympic Park. The summit will be co-chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The upcoming summit is expected to embrace More than 3,000 official representatives of African business and high-level delegates from Russia and African countries will take part in the Economic Forum.

The Summit plenary sessions will properly address a broad range of essential matters on the international agenda and will comprehensively examine prospects on pushing issues of essential interest to Russia and Africa.

The Summit will focus appropriate attention on concrete and possible relations between Russia and the nations of Africa, the development of interaction in the political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural fields among others with an emphasis on identifying ways to accelerate and develop the entire range of Russian-African cooperation in a systematic way.
