Russia is allegedly planning a false flag operation to create a moving image of the “atrocities of Ukrainian nationalists,” as stated on Tuesday by Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Russian special services plan to carry out a series of terrorist attacks to mine and blow up residential houses, hospitals, and schools in Russian populated localities, as well as to launch a missile and bomb strikes on Belgorod or one of the towns in Crimea,” said Budanov on Telegram.

Ukraine’s intel chief also mentioned that Moscow is preparing to detonate explosions in Russian homes or missile attacks to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, he alleged that trenches had been dug in Belgorod and Kursk regions in the last days.
