The South Korean authorities are planning to downgrade COVID-19’s infection level to the lowest category, which means that it will be in the same class as seasonal flu, Yonhap reported on Sunday citing health officials.
According to the officials, the reduction in severity level is likely to be imposed this month, as the health authorities will be meeting on Monday and are expected to officially announce the news on Wednesday.
