Samia Abbou condemns arrest of Rached Ghannouchi

Leader in the Democratic Current Samia Abbou, Monday, condemned the arrest of Ennahdha movement President Rached Ghannouchi.

Abou also denounced “the violation of the right of expression in the country.”

She claimed that the judiciary system in Tunisia is “not independent. It is instead built on the principle of revenge; an obsolete principle that dates back to the era of the Romans,” she pointed out.
