The United Nations Security Council adopted the draft resolution on Wednesday which calls for “urgent humanitarian pauses and corridors” through Gaza.
Malta’s proposal for a resolution received backing from 12 nations, securing approval, while Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States chose to abstain from the vote.
