Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced on Monday that his country will continue to provide funds for the United Nations (UN) Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
Speaking before the Congress of Deputies’ Foreign Affairs Committee, Albares emphasised that the actions of what he quoted as 12 people cannot erase the work of 30,000 other staff members. He described the UNRWA as “indispensable” in helping civilians in Gaza.
