Spain to recognize state of Palestine, its seat on UN

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares Bueno said on Wednesday that his country intends to recognize the State of Palestine and, henceforth, allow it to become a member of the United Nations (UN).

Albares Bueno made those remarks to reporters before the two-day meeting of his counterparts from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels.
