“There are lobbies and mafia groups seeking to abuse the State and its citizens” Kais Saied

On the 23rd Anniversary of the death of Habib Bourguiba, President of the Republic Kais Saied reiterated that “there are lobbies and mafia gangs who are exerting influence in Tunisia and are seeking to abuse the State and its citizens.”

The Head of State added that “they are seeking to overthrow the State yet Tunisia will never collapse.”

Saied criticized that those arrested in the so-called case “conspiracy against State security” are considered detainees, while stating that “Political detainees??… Their hands are stained with blood.”
