Three rockets land in Iraq’s Balad Air Base hosting US contractors

At least three rockets hit the Iraqi military airbase of Balad north of Baghdad, which hosts some US contractors, on Sunday, Reuters reported citing Iraqi security officials.
There are no immediate reports of fatalities.
No group immediately claimed the attack, but armed groups that some Iraqi officials say are backed by Iran have claimed similar incidents in the past,adds the news agency.
