Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex down slightly

Market physiognomy

On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Tunis Stock Exchange concluded its session with a minor decline. The Tunindex experienced a decrease of 0.04%, closing at 8478.51 points. Similarly, the Tunindex 20 dropped by 0.16%, settling at 3,698.11 points. Despite this dip, the market saw positive movements as out of 40 active values, 22 showed an increase while 18 experienced a decrease. The total trading volume reached 2.6 million dinars (MD).

Behaviour of values

The best daily performance was demonstrated by BH LEASING, appreciating by 5.84% to reach 3.26 dinars (D), closely followed by SIPHAT, which recorded an increase of 4.50% to 6.27 D. Continuing this trend, ESSOUKNA and LAND’OR gained 3.47% and 3.33% respectively, closing at 1.49 D and 5.59 D. DELICE also made progress, advancing by 3.20% to 12.90 D.

In the list of declining stocks, STIP lost 4.41% to fall to 4.34 D, followed by OFFICE PLAST, which decreased by 4.35% to 1.10 D. ENNAKL saw a decline of 3.80% to 10.90 D. Additionally, SOTRAPIL and AIR LIQUIDE dropped by 1.64% and 1.16%, ending the day at 14.95 D and 85.00 D respectively.

AMEN BANK shares led the transaction volume with 687 thousand dinars processed. The SAH value, on the other hand, accounted for a total volume of 286 million dinars (MD). The TPR title mobilized a total of 237 thousand dinars in trading volumes, while SOTUVER saw 225 thousand dinars in trading volumes. BNA was traded for 155 thousand dinars.
