Tunisia-10,500 tonnes of olive oil, sold at 15 dinars from December 15

The Ministries of Agriculture and Trade have jointly announced the sale of a quantity of olive oil at the price of 15 dinars per liter for consumers.

In a press release issued on Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Ministries disclosed that a dedicated quantity of 10,500 tons of extra virgin olive oil will be made available for retail sale to consumers at the preferential price of 15 dinars per liter, starting from December 15, 2023.

The press release further specifies that this olive oil will be available for purchase across the entirety of Tunisian territory. The decision to offer olive oil at this special price aligns with the recommendations of President Kais Saied, aiming to ensure that Tunisian consumers have access to ample quantities of olive oil while considering the purchasing power of citizens.
