The Office of Tunisians Abroad (OTE) has identified 250,000 families spread across various countries around the globe.
According to the director of OTE who talked on Wednesday during the holding of the national conference on Tunisian families abroad, the Tunisian diaspora which numbers two million Tunisians is made up of 68% young people, 38 % women, 34% dual nationals and about 16% first-generation immigrants.
“Female migration is increasing to the detriment of male migration,” underlines the OTE.
