Tunisia-3 illegal migration attempts from Mahdia thwarted

The floating and permanent units under the district of the maritime national guard in Mahdia were able to conquer, this Sunday, September 20, 2020, three illegal migration  attempts to the northern shore of the Mediterranean
In a statement given to TAP, a source of the National Guard on condition of anonymity, said that 33 people including 4 women and 6 children were arrested during the operation, adding that these people are from Mahdia, Sfax, Sousse, Kairouan and Tataouine.
At the end of these operations, 3 boats and 3 marine engines were seized by the units of the National Guard, indicates the same source, specifying that the prosecution has ordered to take the necessary measures against the arrested individuals.
