Tunisia-30 years in jail for drugs: Case deferred to March 9

The Kef Court of Appeal ruled, this Tuesday, February 16, 2021, to defer till March 9 the examination of the case of three young people condemned to 30 years in prison, for possession and consumption of cannabis in a public stadium public, following the appeal of the defence panel.

The request for the liberation of the three young people in question need to be examined, today, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, the correspondent of the radio Mosaique FM reports 

It should be reminded that controversy was sparked following the decision of the Kef Court of First Instance to condemn, on January 21, these three young men to 30 years in jail for cannabis consumption. A dispute that has stirred various reactions, including revising Law 52 on drug consumption.
