The Department of Health has released an update of the areas with the highest spread of the coronavirus.
50 delegations have been added to the list which now numbers 70. 96 delegations are classified as areas with medium spread and 58 others are considered as areas with low spread of the virus, according to the ministry.
According to this classification, five governorates are in the list of areas with the highest spread of the virus. These are Bizerte, Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir and Le Kef which currently record 100 contaminations for every 100,000 inhabitants.
The governorates of Tunis, La Manouba, Ariana, Ben Arous, Zaghouan, Béja, Jendouba, Siliana, Kairouan, Sidi Bouzid, Mahdia, Sfax and Tozeur record between 50 and 100 contaminations for every 100,000 inhabitants.
The regions where the contamination is less than 10 for every 100,000 inhabitants are Kasserine, Gafsa, Gabès, Kébili, Médenine and Tataouine.
