Tunisia-70,000 security officers deployed on ballot day

70,000 national security officers will be deployed to cover ballot day on September 15 for the early presidential elections, says Spokesperson for the Interior Ministry Khaled Hayouni.

The officers will be distributed to two groups the first will be composed of 48,000 and will be deployed to polling centres and collection centres.
Composed of Over 20,000 other police officers, the second group will be allotted to all regions of the country to properly secure the general security. Civil protection units will more markedly be in position for any involved emergency.
