Tunisia-ISIE urges legislative nominees to abide by Election silence

The ISIE has issued a press release to inform all presidential nominees that all forms of electoral propaganda are banned once the period of election silence begins. Any violations will lead to a penalty of 20,000 dinars under the provisions of article 155 of the Electoral Law.

ISIE further urged legislative nominees to abide by Election silence and to stay away from and avoid any direct or indirect electoral propaganda in favour of presidential candidates.
