The Presidency of the Republic declared on Friday, August 6, 2021, that a public holiday will be given to public sector officials on the occasion of the Hijri New Year .
The Presidency has explained that the Mufti will announce the date of the Hijri New Year, which will be Monday 9 or Tuesday 10 August.
