Tunisia-A hotline to report attacks on religious executives

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has declared the launch of a toll-free number (80106934) to accept reports and complaints from Muslim, Christian and Jewish religious leaders attacked while in office.

This line was launched by the related ministry, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the religious affairs union, as part of the development and shield of the rights of monotheistic religious cadres.

A team will secure the reception of calls, from 4 a.m. until 10 p.m., while a monitoring unit will follow up on warnings and attacks, whether verbal, physical or moral, before sending a report to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
