A new political faction called “Tunisian National Party” have seen the light under the leadership of Riadh Farhat, the TAP reported.
This was declared Tuesday by the services of Minister to the Prime Minister in charge of Human Rights and Relations with Constitutional Bodies and Civil Society.
With this new formation, the number of political parties in Tunisia is now 222.
This party is constituted on the basis of the provisions of Decree-Law No. 2011-87 of September 24, 2011 on the organisation of political parties, according to the same source.
