Tunisia-Abdel Kabir: “Opening of Ras Jdir crossing will be at start of June ” [Video]

Head of the Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights, Mustafa Abdel Kabi confirmed that it is planned to open the Ras Jedir crossing from the Tunisian and Libyan sides by the start of next June, and this comes within the framework of the plan drawn up by Tunisia and Libya last week in their relationship with the gradual reopening of the crossing.

Abdel Kabir noted that coordination had taken place between the two countries concerning the return of administrative documents, Libyan customs and passport agents, the activation of the system, and the exchange of information between Tunisia and Libya.

The spokesman furthermore expressed that the Dabaiba government and the Libyan Ministry of Interior are responsible today for the Ras Jedir crossing on its Libyan side.
