Tunisia-Abdelkarim Harouni:No battle between Ennahda and President of the Republic, not concerned with his recent statements

Speaking to Shems FM,Chairperson of the Shura Council of Ennahda Movement, Abdelkarim Harouni denied that there was a battle between Ennahda and the President of the Republic, Kais Saied.

“There is no battle between the Ennahda movement and the president of the republic, and there will be no battle between them,” Harouni said.

He stressed that Ennahda is not concerned with the recent statements of the President of the Republic during the oath ceremony of prime Munster Hichem Mechichi cabinet.
“When we notice the presence of anger in the president of the republic, in parliament and in the Tunisian street, the situation is not normal, so we must return to calm,” Harouni said.

He indicated that the return to calm would be through the mobilization of each party to its powers, respect for state institutions and work within the framework of transparency and clarity.
