Tunisia-Abdellatif Mekki: There is no alternative to Kais Saïd, with the exception of the price increase

The secretary general of the party “âmal w injaz”  Abdellatif Mekki, believed that the economic situation of the country will worsen, considering that the price increases are a stable approach to the President of the Republic  Kais Saied .

Mekki added that the president’s priority is to control all the axes of the government, emphasizing that he will plan to target media, and political freedoms after the legislative elections.

In a statement made to a private radio station, he recalled that the Head of State also desires to establish an individual power like that of Zine Abidine Ben Ali.

On another part, the former Nahdaoui leader admitted that there was no structural reform of the economy after 2011, indicating that the current solution requires the creation of wealth.
