Tunisia – Bizerte: Four health workers suspected of stealing narcotic tablets from health center where they work

The Bizerte Prosecutor’s Office authorized, today Monday, the arrest of two individuals and the referral to court of 4 other people suspected of having robbed a large number of narcotic pills from the Bizerte Base Health Center, as reported by the First Deputy Prosecutor of Bizerte, the public prosecutor and official spokesperson of the court of first instance of Bizerte, Seifeddine Obaidi.

The same source revealed, in a statement to TAP, that following a complaint filed by the administration of the Bizerte Base Health Center regarding the loss of a large number of narcotic pills coming from the centre’s pharmacy, the services of the Central Health Inspection The divisions of the National Guard of Aouina in Tunis were permitted to initiate research into this matter, which gave rise to… suspicions about the persons mentioned above, who are agents working within the said centre, confirming that research into the current case continues.
