Tunisia is relatively free of COVID-19, health minister Abdellatif Mekki said.
Speaking at on the sidelines of the signing of a cooperation agreement at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mekki pointed out that Tunisia is currently at the tail of the pandemic, which means that the country is almost virus-free.
On the other hand, he indicated that the risks of a second wave of the Coronavirus, although low, but still exist, in particular, due to imported cases which had been recorded during these last days, which requires more vigilance as well as the implementation of interdepartmental plans and protocols to prevent this pandemic.
