Abid Briki, secretary general of the “Mouvement Tunisie en avant”, assessed that the situation in Tunisia declined after 2011, following the “recycling” of the old system by observing the same guidelines and adopting the same mechanisms that only exacerbated the socio-economic crisis.
In a statement made to a private radio, Briki specified that “It is thanks to the social movements and the process followed by President Saied that the process of July 25 began”, he said.
H pointed out that the “Movement Tunisia forward” supports the measures taken by President Saied and called for the temporary organization of powers, emphasising that the current state of the judiciary does not allow to rule on all files.
