Tunisia-Abir Moussi: Parties formed on a religious basis cannot obtain a licence and Ennahda fraudulently acquired theirs

Free Destourian Party leader Abir Moussi stated in a press conference today that Ennahda is found on a religious basis, adding that the Islamic party has fraudulently acquired their licence in 2011. She pointed out that the  Basic Statute that was submitted to receive a visa is not in line with what is present on Ennahda official page, which is based on religious grounds, and this is denied by law.

She stressed that she will file an appeal against the Ennahda Movement because its founding file is inadequate, inconsistent and fraudulent.

Regarding the rejection of her submitted motion on classifying the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group,Moussi asserted that the refusal was because Ennahda movement belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood and Ghannouchi is its head, the latter is part of the Union of Muslim Scholars and is a member of the Board of Trustees today with a recommendation from A-Qaradawi and is further licensed from Qatar.
