PDL leader Abir Moussi revealed that MP Safi Said had submitted to President Kais Saied an initiative to get out of the crisis. According to Moussi, this is an invitation to a “dialogue” approved in a non-nominative manner by 70 deputies.
The politician assumed that the head of state should have been more clear and communicated to the people the content of this initiative. She additionally denounced the fact that the names of the deputies who supposedly signed the initiative were not revealed. The PDL president further implied that some of the signatories could negotiate the departure of Rached Ghannouchi and his replacement by Samira Chaouachi at the head of the parliament, evoking that the latter is the Sheikh’s best ally in parliament.
